How to Crochet a Mini C2C Bandana in under an hour!

Hi everybody! Today I’m sharing the Mini C2C Bandana crochet pattern. It’s a super quick little project and is perfect for keeping hair in place during the warm summer months.

The bandana is made using the Mini HDC C2C technique. This mini version of the popular C2C technique is simple to get the hang of making this an easy project for advanced beginners and beyond.

Inspiration

I created this cute bandana especially for my advanced beginner crochet class. I think this quick project will be an enjoyable project for my students, and will also add a touch of flair to any summer outfit. I’ve always wanted to design a hair bandana and I can’t get over how fun and quick this one is to make.

If you want more pattern ideas that are great for summer, then be sure to check out a few of my other patterns shown below.

Design Details

The bandana is made with a 5.00 mm (H) hook and any worsted weight yarn. I prefer to use cotton when making them but acrylic works up great too. I’ve also written the pattern in two different sizes and added an option for your furry friends! The size small uses about 57 yards and for the medium you’ll need 93 yards.

They work up in under an hour and are a great project for advanced beginner level crocheters or even for those beginners who want to venture out and try working on a new technique. Like so many of my designs, you can personalize each creation to your own taste by using solid colors or bright summery variegated yarn.

These cute little bandanas are worked using the Mini HDC C2C technique. If you’re familiar with the regular C2C technique then you’ll be able to whip these up in no time. They’re basically worked the same way but instead of using double crochet the Mini HDC C2C technique uses half double crochet.

Both small & medium sizes shown.

This crochet pattern is really easy to customize with the endless color options that are available in worsted weight yarn.

Several fun yarns that you can use to make a bandana are available on Amazon and if you want to check them out over there just click the photos below. **As an Amazon Associate I may earn from qualifying purchases.
