Inspiration
This beanie’s part of my Everyday Collection — a cozy lineup of crochet favorites — and I couldn’t wait to share it with y’all! When Marie from Underground Crafter invited me to join the 2025 Giftstravaganza Blog Hop, I knew this project had to be the one. It’s the sixth pattern in the collection and fits right in with the same mix of simple stitches, cozy warmth, and timeless style that runs through them all.
If you’re in the mood for more cozy makes, take a peek at the other patterns in my Everyday Collection! Each one’s designed with the same heart — perfect for gifting or keeping all to yourself.

Design Details
For this quick and cozy pattern, grab your favorite bulky #5 yarn — anything soft and squishy will do the trick! I used Loops & Threads Charisma for the ones you see here, and it worked up like a dream. You’ll need just over 100 yards, plus a 5.5 mm hook for the brim and a 6.5 mm hook for the rest of the hat. It’s a fast, easy make that’s full of thick, handmade warmth.

❤️🍷🤍
These beanies work up fast — usually in about an hour or less! You’ll start at the bottom with the brim, then use the Interlocking Row Stitch (that’s a combo of double crochet and single crochet) to build the body as you work in the round. Top it off with a fluffy pom pom if you’re feelin’ fancy — or leave it simple and classic.
Yarn Info!
The Everyday Bulky Beanies shown throughout are made with Loops & Threads CHARISMA: taupe and red.
These yarns can be found on Amazon and if you want to check them out over there just click the photos below. **As an Amazon Associate I may earn from qualifying purchases.

There are so many color options in bulky weight yarn, you can stitch up your beanie in just about any shade that suits your style! Check out these beauties from my wonderful testers — Stacy, Michele, and Patti! They used a mix of yarns like Lion Brand Jiffy Quick and Easy (Discontinued), and Bernat Super Value (double strand) and every single one worked up beautifully.
