Everyone’s Everyday Wrap crochet pattern shown in Brava Worsted in Fig and the original Linen sample, including worn and full-wrap views.

Hi y’all! Today I’m giving one of my favorite Everyday Collection patterns a little refresh — the Everyone’s Everyday Wrap.

This cozy, everyday layering piece is made with the Interlocking Row Stitch, giving it lots of beautiful texture while still keeping the stitch repeat simple and relaxing to work. With its ribbed ends and easy-to-customize length, it’s the kind of handmade piece you can throw over your shoulders on a chilly morning or wrap up in when the temperatures start to drop.

I recently made a new sample using Brava Worsted in Fig, and I love how the rich color shows off all that texture. The original Linen version is still one of my favorites too, and I’ll show you both throughout the post so you can see how easily this pattern can be customized to fit the length and style you prefer.

The Everyone’s Everyday Wrap was designed to be one of those cozy, practical pieces you can reach for again and again. I wanted something that felt simple enough for everyday wear but still had plenty of texture and handmade character.

The wrap is worked using my Interlocking Row Stitch, which creates a beautiful textured fabric without making the pattern feel overly complicated. The ribbed ends give it a clean, finished look, while the length can easily be adjusted to suit the way you like to wear your wraps.

The original sample was made with I Love This Yarn in Linen and measures approximately 20″ wide x 72″ long. For this updated version, I made a second sample using Brava Worsted in Fig, finishing it at approximately 18.5″ wide x 60″ long. I love how the shorter Fig version shows just how easy it is to make this pattern your own.

Whether you drape it over your shoulders, wrap it around your neck like a cozy scarf, or keep it nearby for chilly mornings and evenings, the Everyone’s Everyday Wrap was designed to add a little handmade comfort to everyday life.

Yarn + Finished Size

The Everyone’s Everyday Wrap is designed with #4 worsted-weight yarn, and the finished size can easily be adjusted depending on how long you’d like your wrap to be.

The original sample was made with I Love This Yarn in Linen using approximately 1,300 yards and measures about 20″ wide x 72″ long.

For the updated sample, I used Brava Worsted in Fig and approximately 1,060 yards. This version measures about 18.5″ wide x 60″ long, giving it a slightly shorter, more compact fit.

One of my favorite things about this pattern is how easy it is to customize. Simply repeat the main stitch pattern until you reach the length that feels right for you, then continue with the final rows and ribbing.

Hooks Used

  • 4.0 mm (G) hook for the ribbed ends
  • 6.0 mm (J) hook for the main body of the wrap

Gauge

13 dc x 12 rows = 4″ in the stitch pattern using I Love This Yarn.

Because yarn choice, tension, and finished length can all affect yardage and size, your finished wrap may vary slightly from either sample.

Love My Testers!!

It’s no secret that having a strong testing team can make or break a project. Having a group of dedicated testers by your side can take your designs to the next level.

As the saying goes, “teamwork makes the dream work.” And as someone who has experienced the benefits first-hand, I couldn’t agree more.

By providing valuable feedback, the testing process is crucial in ensuring a successful end result in all crochet projects.

So to all you fabulous testers, I say a heartfelt thank you. Your commitment has helped bring this cozy design to life, and for that, I am so grateful.
