Hi everybody!! I’ve got Spring and Easter patterns on my mind so much lately, and today I’m sharing a really easy, beginner friendly bunny pattern. You can quickly learn to crochet an adorable Bunny Stuffy just in time for Easter. Stuffy patterns aren’t something that I normally design but while working on another pattern design, a bunny coaster, this stuffy just “happened”!

Inspiration
Like I mentioned, I’ve had spring on my mind and the crochet pattern ideas are coming so quickly I just don’t have time to get them out. This pattern though, it’s so quick to make and perfect for Easter baskets so I knew this one had to release as soon as possible.
While whipping up a new bunny coaster pattern and sharing with one of my good crochet friends, it occurred to us to create a stuffy with it. I love when two great minds work together and good things happen! PS. The bunny coaster will be out soon!

Design Details
I love that these cute stuffy’s can be made with any brand of worsted weight yarn and a 4.00 mm (G) hook. You only need about 48 yards to make a stuffy and you can whip one up in no time at all. You will also need a small amount of Poly-fil for each stuffy.
The faces are optional and look adorable if you choose to leave them plain. But, if you want to add a face you’ll need 10mm safety eyes and a 13mm nose.

The bunnies are worked in rows using the simple single crochet stitch. You make two panels and then attach them with a border using half double crochet stitches. The bunnies look really precious if you add the bunny tail too. Just use a 1″ pom to attach to the back for a cute little cottontail.

This crochet pattern is really easy to customize with the endless color options that are available in worsted weight yarn. The gray bunny shown above is made with I Love This Yarn in Light Gray. I also used I Love This Yarn in Amethyst which is the purple bunny shown in the photo above. For the pink bunny I used Big Twist in Light Rose.
Several of the yarns that I’ve used can be found on Amazon and if you want to check them out over there just click the photos below. **As an Amazon Associate I may earn from qualifying purchases.
