The Spicewood Pumpkin is an advanced beginner design that uses these stitches: ch, sc, sc inc, hdc, dc, FLO and hdc3l.
The PDF download includes the written instructions as well as 3 different photo tutorials. The first tutorial shows how to work the HDC in the 3rd loop, the second tutorial is for cinching the ends closed and the third photo tutorial helps with making the stem.
MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE SPICEWOOD PUMPKIN:
- Medium #4 yarn for stem & bulky #5 yarn for pumpkin
- 100 yards for the pumpkin; 10 yards for the stem
- 5.00 mm (H) & 5.50 mm (I) hook
- Yarn Needle
- Poly-fil
SKILL LEVEL & NOTES:
- Advanced beginner pattern
- Written in US crochet terms
- Finished size: 19” around (diameter) x 4.5” tall (from top to bottom of pumpkin, excluding stem)
