What you will need for the Don’t Be Square Washcloth crochet pattern

  1. Medium #4 yarn (I Love This Cotton in Parchment, Ivory &Serene Spa)
  2. 50 yards
  3. 5.00 mm (H) hook
  4. Yarn needle
  5. Scissors

Pattern Notes

* Beginner pattern.

** Written in US crochet terms.

* Finished size = 6.5″ x 9″.

** Gauge: From center of washcloth to edge of Rnd 4 = 2″. (Measure from end to end not
side to side.)

* Chain stitch at the beginning of rnd does not count as a stitch. Always place 1st st of each rnd in
same st as beginning ch unless stated otherwise.

** Washcloth is worked in the rnd.

* When you see “join” that means to use the invisible join method.

** Stitch count is only listed on each round when there is a change.

* The washcloth is designed to have an oval shape as well as a slight ruffle. It will not lay perfectly flat.
