We’ve added another fun crochet pattern to the Pretty & Practical Home Collection. Introducing the new SASSy Circle Hot Pad pattern! You can learn how to crochet this charming hot pad with the FREE pattern instructions shown below. It is also an advanced beginner pattern like the SASSy Square Hot Pad but I think it works up even quicker!
Inspiration
While I was designing the SASSy Square Hot Pad I knew that I had to also work up a matching round hot pad pattern. If you’re like me you don’t like having to decide which you like best so with these two patterns you can make whichever suits your needs or both. Personally, I use both regularly!!
If you like the farmhouse look, then you’re sure to love the new SASSy Circle Hot Pad pattern, but, they do look fabulous with many other home decor styles too. These are designed only to protect your counter or tabletops when you need to set hot objects like pans or maybe a coffee pot on them. Since there are open spaces between some of the stitches these beauties are not meant to use when picking up hot pans from the stove or removing items from a hot oven.
Design Details
The new SASSy Circle Hot Pad is so handy and has tons of texture with a dainty appearance. This pattern is worked by crocheting with 2 strands of cotton yarn at once to make them super thick and durable enough for daily use.
You will have so much fun making these and they work up very quickly since there are only 4 rounds. Just grab your favorite #4 cotton yarn and an 8.00 mm (L) hook to whip up several hot pads in no time. I’ve included a photo tutorial for the Link Stitch with the downloadable PDF as well as 2 options to connect the 1st and last Link Stitches. The PDF also offers the option to add a hanging loop just in case you would like to add to your kitchen decor and hang them.
Where To Get The SASSy Circle Hot Pad Pattern?
The downloadable PDF of the new SASSy Circle Hot Pad pattern is available here in my SASSy Shoppe. Or, you can find it in my Etsy or Ravelry shops too.
