Inspiration

I have to admit that this crochet pattern was not all my idea. Nope, the suggestion came from one of my testers, Stacy. After testing our Sunflower Wine Bottle Cover pattern she shared that I should design a coaster. Well of course I should since sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. So, thank you Stacy for helping to bring this pattern to life, both for the design idea and for also testing it!

Design Details

SASSy Sunflower Coaster 4

The SASSy Sunflower Coaster is so charming and dainty just like the other sunflower patterns in the SASS collection. This creation is an advanced beginner design because of the different stitches that are used. If you’ve made any of the other SASS sunflower patterns, then you know that I love using the Popcorn stitch for its terrific texture! This stitch is so fun and I’ve also included a photo tutorial with the downloadable PDF.

The SASSy Sunflower Coaster is designed to be a quick and easy make. Surprisingly, there are only 7 rounds to complete and the coaster is finished. You just need a small amount of #4 cotton yarn and a 3.75mm (F) hook and you can whip up a set of coasters very quickly.

Scroll down to view the free version and learn how to make your own charming coasters. But, if you prefer the premium ad-free version of the SASSy Sunflower Coaster crochet pattern, you can get it for a small cost in any of my shops. The shop links are listed below.

In the premium version, you will receive a beautifully formatted, easy-to-read PDF written pattern along with photo tutorials for the Popcorn Stitch.
