Hobbii Yarn has quickly become my favorite yarn to use for several of my crochet projects. I have used many different types of Hobbii yarns including their light worsted Rainbow Cotton 8/8 and their Umami super bulky yarn. I have to say that I absolutely love both of them!

All About This New Kind Feather Yarn
The Hobbii Kind Feather yarn is a light worsted, #3, DK weight yarn. This yarn is perfect for many different projects and I chose to design a couple of new patterns with the yarn that I received from Hobbii!
This is 100% premium acrylic yarn. Meaning the fibers have undergone several steps which help to contribute to the extra softness of the yarn. Not only is this yarn perfect to use if you are allergic to wool or want to avoid animal fibers but it’s also conveniently machine washable. You will need to avoid drying your makes when using this yarn, but you can iron it on low heat.
Kind Feather is available in 30 vibrant colors, it’s extremely soft against your skin and anti-pilling.
The full price for one skein of this yarn is $9.49 and each skein consists of 257 yards.
Here’s What I Think!
Kind Feather yarn is exceptionally soft, just like a feather, as the name suggests. It is very easy to work with and my projects worked up beautifully.
This yarn, in my opinion, is on-target in size and thickness as a #3, light worsted weight yarn.
There does seem to be a slight sheen, especially on the darker Cognac color which I love! It’s what helped to make my designs even more smooth and luxurious. I understand that this may not work for all projects so keep that in mind.
The price point seems a bit on the high side initially but the unit price decreases the more you purchase. For instance, purchase 4 units and the price is $7.97 each. That’s a 16% discount!
I will definitely be using this yarn again for making lightweight blankets especially. It’s also perfect when making less bulky beanies and scarves to use on cool days.
