Inspiration
While working with my testers on the other CrissCross Chunky patterns we came up with several possible creations to add to the collection and this was one of them. If you’re matchy and love sets like I do then these are the perfect addition to your must make list. The new CrissCross Chunky Boot Cuff pattern coordinates perfectly with the CrissCross Chunky Scarf, Cowl, Beanie and Ear Warmer patterns so if you haven’t done so be sure to check those designs out too.

Design Details
The CrissCross Chunky Boot Cuffs use bulky #5 yarn just like the other CrissCross Chunky patterns. This is the perfect stash busting project too, as there are only 12 quick rounds to complete these cozy cuffs.
The CrissCross Chunky Boot Cuffs are designed in Small, Medium and Large sizes so that you’re sure to find one that fits your needs perfectly. I wear the size small on my ankle area when wearing my short boots. The medium size works really well around my calves with my taller boots. You only need small amounts of yarn, a 5.50 mm (I) hook for the ribbing and a 6.50 (K) hook for the body to make a cute pair of these cozy boot cuffs!

- S = 35 yards per cuff; 70 per pair
- 5.50 mm (I) hook, 6.50mm (K) hook

Instructions
Ribbing: With (I) hook
Rnd 1:
work 28 fhdc, slst to join to 1st fhdc making sure not to twist the ch, ch 1. (28 fhdc)
Rnd 2:
(FPhdc, BPhdc) around, slst to join to 1st FPhdc, ch 1. (28 stitches)
Body: With (K) hook
Rnd 3:
work 32 sc around the top edge of the ribbing, (I place 2 sc in 1st st, 10th st, 20th st, & 30th st), slst to join to 1st sc, ch 1. (32 sc)
Rnd 4:
*sc, ch 1, sk st; rep from * around, join to 1st sc, ch 2. (16 sc)
Rnd 5:
sc in 1st ch sp, *ch 1, sk st, sc in next ch sp; rep from * around, slst to join to top of ch 2, ch 1.
Rnd 6:
sc in each sc and ch sp around, slst to join to 1st sc, ch9. (32 sc)
Rnd 7:
slst in 2nd sc, slst in next st, *ch 9, sk st, slst in next 2 st; rep from * around, work 1 slst after completing last loop ch. (11 loops)
NOTE: For Rnd 8, twist each loop to the right 1 time. There will be 3 sc in the top of each loop when finished.
Rnd 8:
slst in first 3 chs of 1st loop, (Continue to next loop, we will complete the twist on the 1st loop at the end of the Rnd.) *twist next loop, counting from the left side of the loop, sc in 4th, 5th & 6th ch of each loop; rep from * around, twist 1st loop, sc in 4th, 5th & 6th ch of loop, slst to join to 1st sc, ch 1. (33 sc)
Rnd 9:
sc in each st around to last 2 sts, sc dec over last 2 sts, slst to join to 1st sc, ch 1. (32 sc)
RIBBING: With (I) hook
Rnd 10:
*hdc dec, hdc in next 6 sts; rep from * around, slst to join to 1st hdc, ch 1. (28 hdc)
Rnd 11:
(FPhdc, BPhdc) around, slst to join to 1st FPhdc, ch 1. (28 stitches)
Rnd 12:
(FPsc, BPsc) around, slst to join to 1st FPsc.
